The Captains’ Room captures a romantic formal elegance with luxurious super king  bed and 100% Egyptian cotton linen.

Room can be set up with twin beds. Please ask when booking.

The Boat Shed Room offers a relaxed New Zealand  Pacific theme.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 30 days of arrival date: 20% forfeit of the total booking price.
Cancellations within 14 days of arrival date: 50% forfeit of the total booking price.
Cancellations within 7 days of arrival date: 100% forfeit of the total booking price.

Cancellations affect us greatly. We recommend travel insurance.

Cancellation Due to Government-imposed Travel Bans:

If you cannot travel due to a Government-imposed travel ban or border closure, we can transfer your booking to a later date with no penalty or transfer fee as long as this is within the next 12 months from your original date. This will depend on availability and differences in the  price may apply. Otherwise, our standard cancellation policy applies.

Biking & Hiking

There are many trails and tracks offering a different perspective of Picton port town.
Victoria Domain has access to many walking options from along the foreshore to Bob’s Bay, or the Snout track. 

The Picton to Waikawa Bay track is very popular with locals and visitors.
Essons Valley has a gentle grade to either the Barnes or Humphries Dams, through unspoilt river valley of indigenous forests.
For those who prefer a more challenging hike, the Tirohanga Track offers spectacular vistas overlooking Picton and the Queen Charlotte Sound.
There is also an abundance of local mountain bike tracks, from gentle to challenging.

The Link Pathway is a 42km walking and cycling trail between Picton and Havelock, and linking to the end of the Queen Charlotte Track in Marlborough.
